International Growth Lead

QHeat is a Finnish geothermal technology company founded in 2018. So far, we have delivered 18 deep geothermal boreholes and 5 heating plants, proving that large-scale geothermal heating and storage can be done reliably and is a commercially viable business. In 2025, we completed a major business transformation: shifting from a Finland focused turnkey geothermal provider (design → drilling → operations) to an international geothermal technology company focusing solely on our deep borehole technology and scaling our solution through selected partners.

To take these efforts to the next level we are now looking for an International Growth Lead to take charge of our international sales pipeline and establish QHeat as the leading geothermal technology company across the Nordics and Central Europe. Your initial focus will be Sweden and Norway, with Central Europe (e.g. Germany) as the first expansion market in early–mid 2026.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on customer work with strategic thinking and wants to build something new with a small, experienced, and ambitious team.

Key responsibilities:
  • Own the sales process from first meeting to closing, supported by our subject matter experts.
  • Lead new market entries from sales perspective by prospecting high priority-customers, such as utilities, real estate developers, energy service companies, and municipalities.  
  • Establishing early customer relationships and building on them for a sustainable market presence. Participate in building local teams when seen as a viable commercial opportunity.
  • Translate customer insights into offering development, bringing market understanding and customer feedback into our learning loop to strengthen the technology, service model, pricing, and offering.
  • Shape our partner ecosystem, by onboarding partners and through practise defining how we co-sell as the model scales.

What we would like to see from you:
  • Strong experience in B2B energy, cleantech, or infrastructure technology sales.
  • A proven track record in building new markets, creating new customer relationships, and driving complex technical sales.
  • Ability to thrive in a developing, early-stage environment, balancing execution with strategic thinking.
  • Curiosity and understanding of geothermal heating, heat pumps and heating systems is considered a plus.
  • Willingness to travel across the Nordics and Central Europe.
  • Fluent English - Finnish, Swedish, German or French are considered a plus.
